Light Haulage Contractor

In today’s economic climate everyone is looking to save money, that is hopefully where I come in. Being a self employed haulage contractor I don’t have the overheads of some other transport companies that run bigger fleets of vehicles and therefore don’t have to pass these running costs on to you, the customer.

I also believe that service is as important if not more so sometimes than cost. Being the sole driver ensures you get that personal service that sometimes can ensure a successful delivery, and quite often repeat business. Equipped with the latest satellite navigation equipment, mobile phone and several years in the transport industry you can rest assured that your delivery arrives promptly, in the same condition as it left in and most importantly with a cheerful smile. I wear a smart uniform giving that professional image I feel customers want, there is nothing worse in my opinion than a scruffy, unkempt driver turning up at a delivery who is essentially representing you.

The vehicle I run is a transit drop-side, 4.1m x 2.05m, payload capacity of 1.2tonnes with the drop-sides off.

Equipped with ratchets and straps, and also ropes( some loads are better roped than strapped) your load will be secure and arrive in one piece.

I do also have a network of contacts within the transport industry so I am able to arrange vehicles for larger loads, right up to articulated lorries (flat or curtain sided)

Same day service is available at no extra cost unlike with some other couriers.

I offer a 24hr a day, 7 day week nationwide service all throughout the year, bank holidays etc catered for as a matter of course.
